Prayers for the Journey

Well, in just two short weeks I will be boarding a plane to Kenya.  Wow.  To tell you the truth I thought it was three weeks away until I checked the calendar....so now I'm a little panicked.  I have a lot to do in the next two weeks (i.e. send a child to camp, pack a child for college, go on a mini-vacation with my parents, etc).  Somehow during that time I will also pack four huge trunks for Kenya. I am happy to say my husband Walt, as well as two sons Harrison and Hudson, will be joining me.

We would delight in your prayers!  I don't like to tell people how to specifically pray, but I will be personally praying for my attitude.  Normally I'm SO engrossed in all things Kenya and Virginia Home, but this time I am feeling a bit distracted.  Lots of things going on around here and I really need to refocus my mind on Kenya.  I will also be praying for something GREAT to happen over there.  I'm not sure what that looks like or who it will involve, but with God's hand over it, I really want something great to happen.  Our desire is to spend a little more time in the town of Nakuru (beyond the walls of the Virginia Home) to see how we can minister to the town.

Will you join us in praying for this trip?
